Salesforce Data System Build
Overview
Led a cross-functional project to design and implement a Salesforce database for longitudinal impact tracking at Promise Partnership Utah. The system replaced fragmented spreadsheet-based tracking and enabled real-time reporting across 25+ programs.
The Problem
Teams across the partnership were operating without accurate, longitudinal data because the organization did not have a centralized system to gather and analyze it. Data lived in disconnected spreadsheets, making it difficult to track progress, identify patterns, or report impact consistently.
Approach
- Coordinated requirements gathering across data, program, and operations teams
- Co-designed the database architecture to support longitudinal tracking of impact measures
- Built workflows and documentation infrastructure including data sharing agreements, analysis planning templates, and communication strategies
- Simultaneously worked with teams to update their measurement frameworks based on the data being gathered
Outcomes
- Centralized data system enabling longitudinal impact tracking across the partnership
- Real-time reporting capability across 25+ programs
